The Suburban Animal Clinic family would like to welcome new veterinarian and practice owner, Dr. Ashley Maul, and her husband Errol.

Dr. Maul and Errol recently moved to Columbus from central Illinois.  Dr. Maul attended the University of Illinois where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Business Administration degrees.  She has also achieved certification in Animal Chiropractic and Veterinary Medical Acupuncture.

Dr. Maul's specific interests in veterinary medicine include dentistry, preventative medicine, and sports medicine, including rehabilitation.  Her motto is 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.'  From working pets, to athletes, to lap warmers, she will do her best to use a variety of methods including chiropractic care, acupuncture, therapeutic laser, and even massage, to keep her patients happy and comfortable.

As Dr. Maul and Errol leave Illini territory and enter Buckeye country, they bring with them their pet family which includes two horses (Molly and Melanie), two terriers (Simon and Sophie), and their cat, Midnight.  It is a work in progress to convert them all to Buckeyes!

Dr. Maul had this to say to the clients of Suburban:

"The Seimers have fostered and developed Suburban Animal Clinic into a wonderful practice over the last forty years.  I believe the standard of patient care and everyone involved at the clinic is an excellent example of how a veterinary practice can strive to enrich and improve the lives of their patients.

It is with great enthusiasm that I embark on the journey of getting to know all of you and your beloved pets.  I will bring caring hands and a sincere attention to detail to every opportunity I have to care for cherished pets at Suburban Animal Clinic.  I hope in the years to come I will be able to call you my friends as we share in the love and joy that comes with sharing our lives with animals."

Please help us welcome Dr. Maul and Errol at a reception to be held at Raymond Memorial Golf Course on Trabue Road on Sunday, February 1 from 1-3pm.  Please contact us to RSVP.  We will also be saying good-bye and giving our retirement well wishes to Dr. Seimer, wife Sherry, and Joan.
